Use of Force Supervisor Responsibilities

Module Details

This module is designed to train the participant to understand the responsibilities a supervisor has with regards to Use of Force situations:

• Ensuring force is reduced as compliance is gained
• Contacting police and EMS quickly
• Guiding officers to complete incident reports
• Debriefing, identifying, and training what went right and where there are opportunities to improve

By engaging with these core components, participants will emerge equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill their supervisory duties effectively in Use of Force situations, thereby promoting accountability, professionalism, and safety within their respective domains.
