This module is designed to train the participant to better understand & recognize gender & racial harassment as well as discrimination.

This course will introduce the participant to:

  • Be knowledgeable of gender sensitivity & sexual harassment.
  • Understand the issues around racial harassment and discrimination.
  • Become aware of religious & cultural sensitivities.
  • Learn how to recognize & overcome personal bias.


We will also cover:

  • The general makeup of a harassment/ discrimination investigation.
  • Immunity in investigations.
  • Equal Employment Opportunity Commission rulings, case studies, and interpretations.
  • Same-sex/gender discrimination (gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender)
  • The Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act of 1990
