Course Details

Before July 1, 2023, the first 8 hours (Powers to Arrest & Weapons of Mass Destruction) are available online.

After July 1, 2023, the first 8 hours (Powers to Arrest & Use of Force) must be completed in person at an authorized training facility.

This PSO Refresher course includes 16 modules totaling 8 hours of training. It provides private security officers with a balanced review of both Powers to Arrest (PTA) procedures and key concepts related to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and terrorism awareness. Participants will study, internalize, and fully understand essential legal frameworks, reporting protocols, and tactical considerations that impact daily operations, arrests, and threat response.
