Module Details
This course offers a foundational overview of how to respond effectively during a mass casualty incident. It is designed to help participants understand the core principles of safety, assessment, and triage in high-stress situations. Please note that this training does not provide certification or qualify participants to perform CPR or other medical procedures.
By the end of this module, students will be able to:
- Understand when it is safe to provide assistance in a mass casualty event.
- Identify and assist "walking wounded" victims appropriately.
- Apply basic triage principles focused on the greatest good for the greatest number.
- Recognize and organize necessary supplies for an initial response.
- Familiarize themselves with common emergency response terms and roles.
