Bleeding Control Basics

Module Details

This module is designed to train participants in recognizing and responding to life-threatening bleeding emergencies. Participants will learn essential techniques to control bleeding, understand when to call 911, and apply critical interventions such as direct pressure, tourniquets, and chest seals. This course will teach participants to: 

 ✔ Identify when to call 911 and communicate crucial details to emergency responders. 

✔ Apply direct pressure and dressings to control bleeding effectively. 

✔ Use tourniquets to stop severe bleeding in extremities.

 ✔ Properly apply chest seals to manage open chest wounds. 

 With this knowledge, participants will be equipped to take immediate action in emergencies, potentially saving lives while waiting for professional medical assistance.
